Are the vaccines
effective?
Many people have
questions about the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.
Getting a vaccine is a very personal consideration. If you have questions about vaccine safety or
effectiveness, it is best to speak with your healthcare provider, review the COVID-19 Vaccine Fact Sheet or call the County Hotline. Remember, before any
vaccine is approved for use in the United States, it must meet or exceed FDA
thresholds to be considered effective. This is true for the COVID-19 vaccines
already approved, and it is true for vaccines that are awaiting FDA review and
approval.
