(JLUS) is a cooperative planning effort between local governments and a military installation, such as Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle. Monmouth County has completed four studies in partnership with the Department of Defense: The 2017 NWS Earle Joint Land Use Study, the 2019 Raritan/ Sandy Hook Coastal Resilience Study, the 2022 Next Steps to Compatibility Planning Study, and the 2022 Bayshore Coastal Resilience Design Study.
