Joint Land Use Studies for Naval Weapons Station Earle

(JLUS) is a cooperative planning effort between local governments and a military installation, such as Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle. Monmouth County has completed three studies in partnership with the Department of Defense: The 2017 NWS Earle Joint Land Use Study , the 2019 Raritan/ Sandy Hook Coastal Resilience Study and the 2022 Next Steps to Compatibility Planning Study. The County is currently working on one more grant-funded project, a coastal resilience design study focused on two of the eleven sights highlighted in the Raritan/Sandy Hook Bay Coastal Resilience Study.
