Public meetings of the Board of County Commissioners are held regularly on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, except holidays and as otherwise noted. Most public workshop meetings are held in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room on the 2nd floor, in the Hall of Records, One East Main Street, Freehold.
Generally, on these meeting dates, the workshop meeting will be held at 1 p.m. These locations are included on the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners master schedule. Commissioner meeting audio recordings are available.
The Board of County Commissioners includes time for public comment at its workshop and regular meetings. The Commissioners welcome anyone who is present at the meeting to bring forth comments or concerns they may have regarding county business. The speakers are limited to three minutes each.

Notice is hereby given that the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners have changed the dates and location for their Regular Scheduled meetings for June, July and August:
Please be advised that the meetings of Monmouth County Commissioners scheduled for Thursdays, June 18, 2026, July 9, July 23, and August 27, 2026, have been cancelled. The new meeting dates are July 16 and August 13, 2026. These meetings will be held in the Courtroom located on the second floor of Hall of Records, One East Main Street, Freehold.
