In this edition of Monmouth in Focus…

Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone interviewed five vendors who participated in the 2026 Spring Made in Monmouth expo. Commissioner Director Arnone interviewed Roberta Walker of Can’t Contain Myself; Eduard Supler of 24 Karrot Spread; Joseph Thein of J.T. Woodworks; Beth Couchoud of Honeysuckle Nectary; and Patrick Schinder of Wheelhouse Distilling Co. Commissioner Director Arnone also interviewed Middletown Mayor Tony Perry, who attended the expo that was held in his municipality.

This episode also features the unveiling of the MonmouthNJ 250 Monument at Swimming River Park in Middletown. In recognition of Monmouth County’s vital role in the fight for independence, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners and the MonmouthNJ 250 Committee set out to create a lasting work of art. The monument features three striking bronze statues - The Family, The Fighter and The Patriot, created by sculptor Brian Hanlon.

In the Veterans Corner segment, Commissioner Susan M. Kiley interviewed Andrew Clayton, an associate at the Brookdale Community College Veterans Center. Mr. Clayton described the programs and services the center makes available to veterans.
