Beekeepers Information - How to Register 

The Monmouth County Mosquito Control Division periodically conducts mosquito control operations targeting flying adult mosquitoes. Certain products are labeled as toxic to bees. We want to help you protect your hives.

You can register your hives' location(s) with us and include a daytime contact number and/or an e-mail address. If your hives are within 3 miles of an adult mosquito control treatment area, we will contact you at least 24 hours prior to treatment. Your information will not be shared with the NJDEP or other agencies. If your hives are within 3 miles of another county or you seek further protection from other applications, you can register annually with the NJDEP Pesticide Program. www.state.nj.us/dep/enforcement/pcp/bpo-bee.htm

You are responsible to protect your hives. Most operations are conducted because of an elevated human health risk and performed at dusk, dawn or nighttime hours. Dates, times and weather postponements will be posted on this website.
