BizConnect made its public debut in April when nearly 100 Monmouth County business and government leaders gathered to discover all BizConnect offers and to hear what resources are available through the state Economic Development Authority. BizConnect is evolving into a partnership with private sector volunteers to unite a voice for Monmouth County’s economic health. The partnership produced a job fair on Oct. 20, 2009, that attracted 55 companies and a variety of resources for corporations and job seekers. More than 1,000 people attended. More events to help our business community are being planned for future dates.

The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders fully supports its business sector, as BizConnect, the Business Advocate’s Office and the revitalized Economic and Workforce Development Department attest.
