Commissioners seek photo submissions
for 2024 Monmouth County At-A-Glance
FREEHOLD,
NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners invites residents and
visitors to submit photos for the 2024 Monmouth County At-A-Glance, an
annual report that provides a snapshot of the 53 municipalities that are part
of Monmouth County.
“The
Commissioners are excited to once again offer photographers the opportunity to
capture the character and spirit of their towns through the At-A-Glance
photo submission,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Selected
photos will be featured and credited in the 2024 Monmouth County At-A-Glance
or other future publications. Individuals may submit their photos at https://bit.ly/MonmouthCoPhotos.”
“Our
annual At-A-Glance report provides commonly requested demographic,
housing, economic, employment and land use data,” said Commissioner Deputy
Director Ross F. Licitra, a member of the County’s Planning Board. “The At-A-Glance
report also explores the planning matters each municipality faces, based on
staff research and municipal input. This includes referencing municipal
websites, master plans and re-examination reports, planning board minutes,
planning and zoning ordinances, and local news publications.”
“Through
its At-A-Glance report, the Division of Planning is able to create an
annual glimpse of all 53 municipalities in the County using facts and photos,
while highlighting what is unique about each one,” said Commissioner Erik
Anderson, liaison to the Division of Planning. “The Board is encouraging all
interested individuals to submit photos showing the special characteristics of
Monmouth County.”
