UNION BEACH, NJ - Construction to replace the Florence Avenue

the closure of Florence Avenue from St. John’s Avenue to Broadway. The project
is scheduled to be completed by January 2024.
“This project highlights our commitment to continuing
to upgrade the County’s infrastructure and we thank everyone for their patience
during the construction process,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone,
liaison to the County’s Department of Public Works and Engineering. “During
construction, a detour will be set up for vehicular traffic that utilizes Poole

area.”
In total, the County maintains approximately 1,000 lane
miles of roads, 980 bridges and culverts and 250 traffic signals and
