Green Grove Bridge closed for repairs

NEPTUNE, NJ – The Green Grove Bridge (N90), located between Route 66 and Route 33, has been closed for repairs caused by a severe washout and tree damage until on or around April 25.

The Monmouth County Division of Bridges and Division of Engineering are evaluating and developing plans for the required repairs, which are scheduled to begin next week.

“While the Green Grove bridge will be closed, detours will be set up for vehicular traffic and the pedestrian walkway will remain open,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the County’s Department of Public Works and Engineering. “Please plan for this detour if you are driving in the area and we thank you for your patience.”

In total, the County maintains approximately 1,000 lane miles of roads, 980 bridges and culverts and 250 traffic signals and beacons.
