Road to close for pedestrian bridge replacement
MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown-Lincroft Road, from West
Front Street and Nutswamp Road, will close to vehicular traffic at 9 a.m. on
Monday, Dec. 20 and remain closed until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21 to replace
the pedestrian bridge over Crooked Run Brook.
The bridge is being replaced due to age and normal
deterioration.

as the pedestrian bridge is being replaced,” said Commissioner Director Thomas
A. Arnone, liaison to the County’s Department of Public Works and Engineering.
“We appreciate the patience of those who travel on Middletown-Lincroft Road
during this construction project and will work to get it done as quickly as
possible.”
Middletown-Lincroft Road will remain open to

motorists should follow the posted detours. All traffic should expect travel
delays throughout the entire project.
The work is being performed by Lima Charlie
Construction, Inc. of Freehold.
