4-H Spring Livestock Expo
LINCROFT, NJ – The Monmouth County

visitors to the 2019 Monmouth County 4-H Spring Livestock Expo from 11 a.m. to
2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at Thompson Park, Newman Spring Road.
“Children and families are
cordially invited to attend this event in the lovely Thompson Park to learn
about livestock, participate in games and make crafts,” said Freeholder Lillian
G. Burry, liaison to Monmouth County 4-H and the Park System. “I encourage all
parents to have their children be a part of such a wonderful 4-H community
where 4-H’ers learn by doing.”
4-H members and their animals will
be participating in interactive learning stations where they will display their
knowledge and care for livestock.
Members complete hands-on projects
in the areas of health, science, agriculture and citizenship in a positive
environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors. These mentors
encourage and guide 4-H members through proactive leadership roles.
