New Monmouth County Tourism website launches on the first day of summer

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders is marking the first day of summer by announcing the launch of the new Monmouth County Tourism website, www.tourism.visitmonmouth.com.

“The summer is the perfect time to launch the new Tourism website. This website places information for residents and visitors alike right at their fingertips,” said Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone. “This website highlights the best of Monmouth County Tourism and offers something for everyone.”

The website has been created to give a user-friendly experience and add a sense of fun and vibrancy, showcasing all that Monmouth County has to offer. The website exhibits the beauty and originality of Monmouth County through its lively images, easy-to-use interactive maps and a comprehensive events calendar that shows what’s happening around Monmouth County.

An exciting new aspect of the website is the “Plan Your Trip” function, which allows users to see all of the places to stay (including campgrounds), eat and shop while visiting Monmouth County.

For those looking for something to do, the new Tourism Events Calendar includes eye-catching images of all the upcoming events right on the homepage. By clicking once, the calendar provides a full list of all the events happening throughout the year and an interactive map that guides to the exact location of where all the events are taking place.

In Monmouth County, there are more than 50 miles of bay and oceanfront beaches with breathtaking boardwalk views, revolutionary history sites, nationally recognized parks and golf courses, dining experiences for all taste buds and plenty of places to spend the night.
