The Office on Aging was established by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1975. Our main goal is to ensure that our older citizens receive the services that will help them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life. The Office is responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of services to county residents 60 years of age and older.
Serving the growing population of adults age 60 and over and their caregivers, the Office on Aging utilizes federal, state, and county funds to develop programs and partnerships to deliver essential services to the seniors of Monmouth County.
Programs funded through the Office on Aging provide supportive services for information and assistance, benefits screening, extended assessment, outreach, legal assistance, nutrition education and counseling, transportation, home care, senior centers, protective services, care management, residential maintenance, telephone reassurance, physical fitness, education, socialization/recreation and more.
The Office on Aging is located at 21 Main and Court Center, Freehold, New Jersey 07728. Call or visit our office for further information and assistance. Our toll free, New Jersey EASE, telephone number is 1-877-222-3737.
