Housing Recovery Information Session to be held in Monmouth County

Information Session to be held in Keansburg on July 14

 

KEANSBURG, NJ – Storm-affected homeowners participating in State housing recovery programs can get personal assistance at the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Information Session at the New Point Comfort Fire House at 192 Carr Ave. from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14. 

“So many Monmouth County residents are still rebuilding from Superstorm Sandy,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Serena DiMaso. “I encourage anyone who has questions about these great programs to come to the Information Session and speak with someone face-to-face and get answers.”
 
The purpose of this DCA Information Session is to provide individualized, hands-on assistance to help eligible Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program and Low-to-Moderate Income Homeowners Rebuilding (LMI) Homeowners Rebuilding Program participants with any housing recovery questions or issues they might have.

The purpose of this information session is to provide individualized, hands-on assistance to help eligible Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program and Low-to-Moderate Income Homeowners Rebuilding (LMI) Homeowners Rebuilding Program participants with any housing recovery questions or issues they might have.

Representatives from the DCA’s Sandy Recovery Division and Housing Recovery Centers, as well as RREM Program Managers, will be present to answer specific questions about the RREM Program and LMI Program. Additionally, representatives of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs will be available to answer questions.
