set meeting dates
Sine Die, organization meeting will be held Jan. 6
FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders will organize for 2015 at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at the Monmouth County Biotechnology High School at 5000 Kozloski Rd.
On the agenda will be the swearing-in of Lillian G. Burry and Gary J. Rich, Sr. as members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Also on Jan. 6, the Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold a Sine Die meeting at 11 a.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the Hall of Records.
This meeting is held to conclude financial and other business matters for 2014. The Latin term Sine Die means the final adjournment of a legislative session, without adjourning to a specific time or date; literally it means “adjournment without a day.” The term is most commonly used to signify the final adjournment of a session of Congress or state Legislature.
The Freeholders final scheduled meetings in 2014 will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18. The workshop will held at 2 p.m. and the regular meeting will take place at 7 p.m.
