FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders has adjusted its 2014 meeting schedule with changes to two meeting dates.

· The Thursday, Oct. 23 meetings have been changed to Thursday, Oct. 30 with the workshop meeting at 2 p.m. and the regular meeting at 5 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Hall of Records on Thursday, Oct. 30.

· Additionally, the Board has moved its Tuesday, Dec. 23 meetings to Thursday, Dec. 18. The workshop meeting will be at 2 p.m. and the regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18. Both meetings will be held in the Hall of Records on Thursday, Dec. 18.

“The Board of Chosen Freeholders seeks to inform our residents of any changes to our meeting schedule so that they may make adjustments if they wish to attend,” Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry said. “We encourage our residents to participate in our public meetings and to check the County website for the most accurate dates and locations.”

Unless otherwise indicated, the Board of Chosen Freeholders meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Workshop meetings are usually held at 2 p.m. with all regular meetings normally held at 7 p.m. in the Hall of Records in Freehold. The Freeholder meeting dates are posted to the Monmouth County website at www.visitmonmouth.com.
