County to introduce budget March 13

Freeholders discussing 2014 spending plan

 

SHREWSBURY, NJ – The Board of Chosen Freeholders will introduce the Monmouth County 2014 budget at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 at their regular meeting at the Monmouth County Eastern Branch Library at 1001 Route 35.

 

The budget presentation will be repeated at the Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Dr. in Manalapan. 

 

The Board of Chosen Freeholders has slated the adoption of the budget for its 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10 regular meeting in the Hall of Records at One East Main St. in Freehold. Prior to the scheduled adoption, the official budget hearing will be held. 

 

Public comment on the 2014 County budget will be accepted at all three meetings.
