Feb. 13 Freeholder meeting time changed

Workshop to be held at 1 p.m.; regular meeting to follow

 

FREEHOLD, NJ – With a forecast of significant snow and mixed precipitation for tomorrow and in the interest of public safety, the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders have moved their Thursday, Feb. 13 workshop meeting to 1 p.m.

 

Immediately following the workshop meeting, the Board’s regular public meeting will be held.

 

“The Freeholder public meetings are essential for the operation of the County, but public safety is paramount,” said Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry. “Given the weather predictions, the Board will hold both meetings during the day allowing for everyone to head home during the daylight hours.”

 

Both meetings will be held in the Hall of Records located at One East Main Street in Freehold Borough.

 

The Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting dates, agendas and minutes are posted to the County website at www.visitmonmouth.com.
