“As people are making their plans to be part of this great event, we want them to know that Monmouth County is a great place to stay, eat, shop and relax,” said Freeholder Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the County Department of Public Information and Tourism. “We are inviting Super Bowl visitors to head south to Monmouth County. We are ready and open for business.”

Monmouth County is the perfect place; from cozy bed and breakfasts to exceptional hotels, find convenient lodging as Monmouth County is approximately 40 minutes south of Metlife Stadium which is located in East Rutherford and is easily accessible by the New Jersey Turnpike.

Just for the Super Bowl, NJTransit has launched the 'Championship Dining Program' enabling participating restaurants, hotels and other businesses that serve food to offer discounts to guests who show their NJTransit pass (monthly/weekly/SuperPass/other NJTransit fare media).

Monmouth County is home to a variety of restaurants. Be sure to enjoy the wide array of dining opportunities, from oceanside restaurants to coffee shops, there is something for everyone.

“If you visit Monmouth County, you will discover a variety of fun things to do in the area. Temperatures are generally cold and snow is possible, but don't let that stop you from taking a walk near the beach and along a historic boardwalk,” said Arnone. “The town centers of Red Bank, Asbury Park and Freehold will be abuzz with energy! Monmouth County has many festive activities as well.”
