Monmouth County sets up
three distribution sites


FREEHOLD - Monmouth County has set up three distribution sites for victims affected by Hurricane Sandy in need of essential items.

 

The locations for people to pick up those items are:

·                 Holy Family Church – 910 Route 36 Hazlet

·                 Monmouth Park – Oceanport Ave., Oceanport

·                 Circle Factory Outlet – (formerly known as the Peddler’s Village) 1407 Atlantic Ave. at the Route 35 circle, Manasquan.

 

Hours of availability are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Bottled water, non perishable items, new clothing and personal hygiene products are some of the items that have been requested and will be transported from the donation center at Thompson Park in Lincroft to the listed distribution sites.

 

Monmouth County officials have established a Hurricane Sandy hotline, a clearinghouse of information for residents affected by the storm. The phone number is 732-303-2882.
