 Food for Thought event to focus
on mind and body

Information about caring for yourself, your family and friends

FREEHOLD, NJ – A “Food for Thought” event will be held at the John L. Montgomery Care Center, 115 Dutch Lane Rd., on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This first such session will look at how you can take care of your mind and body with a focus on eating healthy and relaxation. Read the event flyer.

Informative sessions by local experts will be held:

    • Chef Mike Cavanaugh will prepare a quick, healthy meal
    • Mary Luby, LCSW, will provide tips for healthier eating
    • Fran Pannella, LPN, will offer a fun and relaxing interactive presentation that will keep you mentally active and engaged.

“Keeping yourself fit and healthy is one way to take care of yourself,” Freeholder Director John P. Curley said. “Attendees will learn some great ways to live a more enjoyable life.”

There is no charge for the “Food for Thought” event; however, space is limited. Call the John L. Montgomery Care Center at 732-431-7420 to reserve your seat. Refreshments will be served. Tours and information about the county’s Care Center community will also be available.

The event is being presented by the Monmouth County Office on Aging, Monmouth County’s John L. Montgomery Care Center, Care Alternatives, and O’Brien Funeral Home (NJ License No. 4805).
